This project had been occupying my thoughts for some time, so it had to be made real. It can be placed on a floor or table, or even hung on the wall. Though the librosaurus prefers books, it will take whatever you would like to place in its gaping maw.
Just another family project that I think’s worth putting out there for the edification of the few. Good luck finding these little knittables in the thrift stores anymore. That ship has sailed unless you want to make them all yourself.
Some friends asked me to help create a soap box racer for the [Portland Adult Soapbox Derby](http:www.soapboxracer.com). They would handle engineering the car if I would tackle the concept and crafting.
Still in use on our back porch, this was a fun build made as a surprise for the wife. A utility hose runs from the basement hot water line, and then the tub is drained off in to the backyard.
This project involved rebuilding half of the cabinetry, moving appliances, adding windows and tearing out the floors. You only get to see the fun stuff.
